Couldn't resist the detail of the array of colours in such a short space

Pleasant photo, but am willing to be that what you beheld was more vibrant and expressive. You've caught many variations of color and the different stages of change. The green pines you used to set off the other colores really worked. The repeating lines of the lamp posts and tree trunks provided an interesting feature, that was hard to do. Normally they're a distraction instead of an integral part of the photo, you did a nice job with that. The leading line of the side walk helps your eye to travel along the picture, and that last tree trunk brings your eye up, traveling along the curve of the tree line, and back around to take another look. Nicely composed. You cropped it perfectly. The bare branches gave it a touch of irony. Thank you for sharing this with us!

I read your journal and you should know we (in Canada) are aware of the terrible situation down under
We here in Atlantic Canada have had smaller (in area) but equally devastating floods(for those who were affected)
My heart goes out to you all
I know other Aussies(some who live in the area affected) and along with your journal it has brought it all home to me

I am so sorry for the very late reply my friend :forgiveme: Our hometown was hit by another flood a river flood this time :sniff: It has been a hard time for everyone here in Horsham but we are all ok now and everything is getting back to normal. I too feel very sorry for all those poor people in Queensland :tears: :sniff: such devastation and so many lives lost :tears: I have included a link to a news feature by :iconmoviegirl78: [link] thank you ever so much for your good wishes :tighthug:

I know some people think this place IS life,but what you and those in Queensland Know is that you look after those you care about FIRST and then when time permits DA will still be here
