Lucky as always for these kinda shots
they showed a pair of Eagles just like this only with their feet actually entwined as they fell through the air, in what was indeed an act of mating... according to the film.. . it was actually really cool, as I'd never seen anything like it, and would not have known what this was, had I not just seen the film!

By the way, if anyone likes birds at all "The Big Year" is one to rent... [since it's out for rental now]
and it is about birds and birding, but also so much more... wonderful film.
